Best in Show

GD 400 | Spring 2022

Best in Show is a project focused around creating pictograms and symbols for dog shows. An event that is often chaotic behind the scenes, there is a surprising lack of wayfinding and easy to understand signage beyond type-based information. These pictograms are aimed to create a more consistent and coherent branding across dog shows while also clearly differentiating between dog groups and awards.

This project also featured the use of 3D printing to create the physical pictograms themselves. This allowed for the development of my 3D modeling and printing skills.
